Body scanners will be installed at the new Terminal 3 at the Indira Gandhi airport on a trial basis.
 

T3 is set to be officially opened in early July and should be operational soon after that.
 

The aviation minister says they haven't yet agreed on the type of technology that will be used in scanners as the controversial equipment has raised concerns about breach of privacy and the health implications of radiation exposure.
